I’m Louise, and it’s lovely to meet you!
In a nutshell, I’m a pint-sized blogger from sunny Yorkshire, with a love for home interiors, make-up, nature and animals, and good food. Passionate about politics and feminism, and obsessed with bubble baths and my 9pm bedtime.
I’m a fiction writer first and foremost, it’s my passion and my favourite hobby, and I’m working to get my first novel published next year. I started this blog to share my thoughts on day-to-day life, mental health and women’s health, and other more general posts. I write and talk a lot about books and TV shows, and am a proud member of the Supernatural, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones fandoms. I suffer from GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) and have a myriad of women’s health issues which are currently ongoing and undiagnosed.
In September 2017 I married my best friend, and we’re in the process of buying a new house to start our new life together. We live with our Cocker Spaniel Logan and our black cat Mickey. I’m a self-confessed obsessive cat lady, and JH is a huge softie when it comes to the dog – though he’ll never admit it. We love to travel and see the world together and hope to start a family in the near-future.
Health and fitness is a huge part of my life, I love to go running, practice yoga and go to the gym, and I also love cooking and eating out. I ran my first half-marathon in Spring, and plan to do more in the upcoming months. Physical fitness has a direct impact on my mental health, and it’s one of the things that keeps me going during tougher days.
I hope you enjoy following my ramblings, and please get in touch as I love connecting with like-minded people.
